It is the venue for many internal and external tournaments (summer international tournament) as well as regular coaching sessions. The club house is at the heart of the club and was built in 1992 by a member using funds raised by club members. There has been little, if any, renovations since the early 90’s hence the club house is looking outdated and facilities are a little tired.
Diamond Interior Contracts were appointed to update the ground floor shower and wc facilities. When taking on the project, we suggested a re-organisation of the floor space to make better use of the space for male and female WC’s changing and shower facilities, as well as an ambulant WC. This was agreed and work has now been completed which included a new upgraded and larger hot water cylinder, cubicle partitions, partial tiling to the walls, water proof wall panels within the shower cubicles, re-siting of showers, urinals/toilets and vanity units, new ceilings, lighting and ventilation as well as smart vinyl flooring to create a warm environment.
Safety on site, with regular public access to the site, was a priority. As was keeping some washroom and toilet facilities in use throughout renovations. This initial work has led to Diamond Interior Contracts immediately being asked to quote for further internal refurbishment.
